Abstract
A full 3D finite-element (FE) electron-trajectory analysis of a multistage depressed collector concerning an existing magnetically focused TWT is presented. The aim of this analysis is to show the effectiveness of a 3D FE approach by comparing the obtained results with analogous ones, available from the KOBRA code. The tool used for the simulation is the COCA code.
