  • Abstract
    Bone mark analysis is one of the important research fields of forensic science that identifies tool (Weapon/Object), based on their features. These features are mainly available as digital images. In this paper we proposed an efficient and automatic approach of finding the bone marked area using image processing. Our approach also extracts the characteristics of the tool based on the boundary points of the marked area. Our automated approach has given better performance compare to finding other boundary point algorithm.
