Abstract
DC power system architects have always been juggling with the various modules comprising a typical system (rectifiers, distribution modules, controllers, frameworks, cables, batteries, etc.) to optimize their design and offer a system which meets the requirements of the users. This paper presents a comparative study of today´s power systems architectures and explores the advantages of a new hybrid topology perfectly suited for large DC power systems.
