Abstract
We investigated the SAR distribution inside ASTM and oval phantoms placed inside a 64 MHz RF test lab system. We evaluated the influence on simulation results of a shielded room without absorbers and another phantom present. A precise match between the simulated and actual domains for the geometry of 64 MHz RF test system is important for a reliable simulation of the SAR distribution. Another phantom present inside the shielded room may significantly affect the SAR distribution inside the phantom under test.
