Abstract
Based on the traditional TDOA location algorithm, two kinds of joint location algorithms of TDOA and TOA for TDMA system target sources are proposed. Due to the complementary positioning properties of TDOA and TOA methods in a 2-D plane, the problems of ambiguity and non-solution are avoided as well as the positioning accuracy in long-range situation is improved. At the end, simulation results illustrate the efficiency of the proposed algorithms.
