Abstract
A new design using sliding mode control(SMC) for the fuzzy large-scale systems is proposed. The system is composed of a number of T-S subsystems with interconnections. A global controller is constructed by combining decentralized parallel distributed compensation (PDC) controller with a supervisory SMC to enhance the robustness and the tracking performance. The proposed strategy can guarantee the whole system to be asymptotically stable. A numerical example illustrates the control design procedure and its effectiveness.
