  • Abstract
In C/TDMA systems, both MAI and ISI arise. In this paper we present a new type of multistage detector that overcomes these problems: and in addition has complexity proportional to the number of CDMA users, is computationally efficient and is suitable for pipeline implementation that allows fast data processing. The multistage detector employs for estimation a K×K matrix and the data are estimated successively, for all users, on a symbol-by-symbol basis a lower bound for the average BER is derived
