  • Abstract
One of the big problems of a Peltier module with ceramic plates for commercial use is reliability. It depends on it´s usage. Temperature difference between hot electrode and cold electrode causes substantial strain on the chips of the module. Support parts in the electrode are effective in absorbing this strain and required life can be designed. This reliability is achieved by two important technologies. One is thick electrode pattern to absorb strain and to release the stress of DBC method. Second is the bar ingot to ensure high strain and to arrange a crystal axis. This design method is good for other commercial use
