Abstract
A geometric propagation channel model is presented. This model is used to obtain the channel transfer function and parameters such as coherence bandwidth and multipath spread of the channel. Based on the modelled transfer function and the subsequent impulse response, the fading characteristics of various broadband channels are studied. The results provide information on the behaviour of existing systems, and can be used for design and analysis of future broadband systems
