e-Learning system to support teacher´s awareness for misunderstandings in quiz

In this paper, we aim to develop an e-learning system that brings teachers´ awareness for typical misunderstandings in quizzes. Especially, we focus on a short descriptive answer style. In the previous paper, we proposed the basic idea of the system. In this paper, we discuss drawbacks of the previous system through some trials. The drawbacks are a heavy load brought by frequent update of the screen, and the miss-recognition of the number of the same mistakes. We propose the extension of the system, which gets rid of the drawbacks. The system provides two views: a list of all answers including incomplete ones, and a partial list of answers that have similar words. It keeps the effectiveness of the previous system, bringing teachers´ awareness for typical misunderstandings, and reduces the heavy load by the partial list. Teachers would grasp typical misunderstandings quickly.
