Abstract
Carrying out project courses in a university adds a level of difficulty to software engineering, because there usually exist very tight deadlines and the knowledge of the developers is naturally low. Based on the experience with two practical courses conducted at Technische Universitat Munchen, the paper gives some recommendations on how to deal with these problems
