Abstract
The present work tested the potential difference between the skin around an injured tissue by breast cancer T4 and a healthy tissue using a simple RC circuit and a digital three digits voltmeter. Two women with breast cancer T4 participated as volunteers. The results showed that the injured regions have more negative charge than the healthy regions, i.e. injured tissues have higher concentration of electrons when compared with healthy ones. This could suggest that diseases, like breast cancer, favor a higher concentration of electrons on tissues or they are a consequence of it. Small currents were applied on the skin in order to accelerate the shift of electrons from injured to healthy tissues. This procedure resulted in pain relief.
