Abstract
Regarding shielding effectiveness measurements in mode-stirred chambers there are a lot of unknown variables concerning the operation mode of the chamber and the evaluation of measurement data. This paper is aimed at determining the best operation mode-e.g. mode-tuned or mode-stirred mode-and the minimum number of measurement samples. The results obtained from shielding effectiveness measurements are compared to measurements carried out in an anechoic chamber. It is shown that both measurement environments are comparable for the average shielding effectiveness of an equipment under test (EUT)
