Preface

This volume contains the collection of work presented at MobiCASE 2014, which was held November 6–7 in Austin, Texas. For its sixth iteration, the conference brought together leading researchers from academia and industry to present and discuss innovations in the area of mobile computing, applications, and services. The conference was technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society and Create-Net in association with the European Alliance for Innovation (EAI). MobiCASE 2014 was also sponsored by the Center for Advanced Research in Software Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin and by Exxon Mobile.
