  • Abstract
Magnetic-polymer-composite sheeting is used to suppress radiated electromagnetic noise generated from electronic equipment. The sheeting is a combination of a soft-magnetic-metallic powder and a polymer. Installing this sheeting on transmission lines on substrates, attenuates the conducted-electromagnetic noise. In this paper we describe the effect on the transmission line characteristics due to the installation of the sheeting, and the attenuation of high-GHz-conducted-electromagnetic noise by loss of the sheeting
