Abstract
Energy monitoring & control is an application domain that has a lot to benefit from the cloud. However, according to the specific context of the applications considered, the relations of the stored data and their granularity may cause important data storage and traffic problems; how these data are handled, forwarded, aggregated, stored, recalled and maintained in long term, is the essence of designing an effective cloud solution and subject of intensive scientific research nowadays. Moving to this direction, we propose a software architecture and implementation design patterns, optimized for CE devices and applications.
