  • Abstract
The production of municipal sludge is very huge. Deposition of municipal sludge usually cause mental pollution, so deal with sludge and eliminate associated pollution is attractive. We focused on strategy of to resolve the sludge pollution through biological methods of agriculture utilization. Weeds of Scirpus planiculmis (SP) were used to remove the heavy metals of Cu, Zn, Pb, Cd, Cr, and Ni in the sewage sludge by potted planting. 43.1% of Cu and 41% of Zn were removed by SP showed the high enrich abilities towards Cu and Zn, the observation demonstrated that biological strategy of SP to remedy soil contamination mainly caused by Cu and Zn comply with the call for soil pollution solution.
