  • Abstract
Catalytic exhaust after treatment of vehicle engines is increasingly employed to the benefit of the atmosphere quality. Catalysts are further employed as regeneration aids in particulate filters of motorcycle engines. The place where the catalytic converter is installed will affect the result directly. FLUENT software is utilized to carry on the simulation of the interior flow field of motorcycle exhaust pipe in this paper. According to the distribution of the velocity and pressure, the reasonable installing position is confirmed.
