Abstract
Four sets of MS-DOS file processing modules have been developed for the purpose of batch processing of Holter data: (1) HOLTER modules, that convert QRS, STT, and diary files as produced by commercial Holter systems to a standardized format; (2) CENSOR modules, being queries to the standardized QRS files; (3) TABULA modules, processing tabular data in a comma-separated value format extended with a special time format and performing many operations; and (4) UTILITY modules, for batch laser printer plotting, among other functions. HOLTER and CENSOR modules are dedicated to Holter data processing. TABULA and UTILITY modules can be used in any research environment. With the modules, a variety of research problems can be solved by simple writing and execution of batch files
