  • Abstract
This paper introduces an effective method on improving the signal integrity of the high-speed digital video channels by mitigating the impact of parasitic capacitance introduced by the indispensable ESD protector, which is intentionally compensated by a locally high inductance in high density routing boards without adding any cost at platform level. Both TDR and eye pattern simulation of the concerned high-speed differential channel indicate significant performance improvement, which is correlated with the lab measurement.
