Abstract
Generally, most of the electronic equipments need a metallic enclosure in order to mechanically protect and to electrically shield the interior printed circuit boards and subsystems. In this paper, shielding effect of shielding structure were studied by EM simulation software based on FEM. Especially the shape and arrange of apertures were discussed. The work shows that the shielding effectiveness is dependent on shapes, numbers, and orientation of apertures of the enclosure.
