Abstract
This paper investigates the stability problem for stochastic linear time-invariant systems with a preview of process disturbance, where a digital communication network connects the sensors and controllers. The case with limited data rates of the communication channel is considered. Stability in the presence of a preview of process disturbance in the plant is analyzed using a data-rate constraint argument. Sufficient conditions for stability of the feedback loop are derived. Simulation results show the validity of the proposed scheme.
