Abstract
The recent research interest moves to cellular network with small cell deployment to reach high spectral efficiency, regarding the concepts as femtocell, Network MIMO, relay network, etc. Frequency planning becomes more important to support these technical advances. In this paper, a novel frequency planning scheme is presented. It allows exploiting the joint transmission in downlink, and enables the receiver to deploy interference cancellation. Throughout the investigation, a multilink simulator is developed to evaluate the basic performance for the isolated cellular setup. Finally, a simplified system simulator is taken into account to assess the system performance.
