Abstract
Simplified Gaussian driven nonlinear lattice filters are derived. Like the linear whitener, the Gaussian nonlinear whitener requires O(N) computations and still achieves a completely orthogonal basis. Simplification is afforded by exploiting the zero odd moment property of Gaussian signals and the knowledge of the eigenvalue spread contributing inputs
