  • Abstract
A novel algorithm for joint CCI cancellation and channel estimation is proposed for BPOFDM. A closed-form algorithm based on least square (LS) is proposed. With this algorithm, the CCI can be cancelled and there is no need to send the training sequence frequently, which increases the spectrum efficiency and lowers the complexity of the system. Also the proposed algorithm is not sensitive to signal to interference ratio (SIR). A properly designed block precoder is proposed for the algorithm. Finally, simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can effectively mitigate CCI while employing the properly designed precoder thereby, significant improving the system´s interference suppression ability without significant bit error rate (BER) performance degradation.
