  • Abstract
    This paper describes software to assist the transformer testing laboratory in electrical engineering teaching. The software is a Microsoft Windows application programme. It requires an IBM compatible PC with MS Windows 3.1. The programme compiler used is Borland C++ (Ver 3.1) with Application Frameworks. The advantages of C++ as an OOP language are discussed and attention is drawn to the fact that C++ provides a unified programming environment for programme reusability and easy maintenance, and strong graphic capabilities which meets the update requirements for engineering teaching with proper application of multi-media computing technology
