Abstract
Based on the quantitative relationship of reaction time and contact time, in connection with the theory of SO2 transformation, this paper constructs the model of predicting outlet temperatures of each converter and computing conversion rate of whole conversion device. Through the modification on kinetic equation of domestic catalyst, the data from the process of acid-making in one Smelt factory is fitted. Simulation results show that, this model can exactly compute the SO2 conversion rate and predict the outlet temperatures of each converter.
