  • Abstract
The disposal technology of the acid mine drainage of gold copper mine with milk of lime for neutralization/precipitation in a high density sludge (HDS) method was studied. The results show that, comparing with the traditional lime neutralization, the consumption of lime can be reduced by 33.3%, the water content of the sludge produced is lowered to 67.6%. By adopting this method, the treatment cost and the fouling of equipment will be significantly reduced.
