Abstract
Basing on the constructivism learning environment design theory and the generalization of abundant experience of designing and developing distributed learning system, this paper brings forth a set of approaches to RAE(Role-Activity-Environment) learning system modeling that has combined object-oriented methods and instructional system design methods. The basic principle, modeling processes and model framework of RAE have been elucidated in detail.
