  • Abstract
The nature of the absorption currents, dielectric behavior, and pyroelectric response of three ceramic/polymer composites has been studied. The composite PZT5/VDF-TrFe shows a significantly higher pyroelectric figure of merit than that of PZT. The PZT8/PVDF composite is observed to be inferior to the ceramic-copolymer composite with respect to pyroelectric response. The composite PZT8/polypropylene has a very weak pyroelectric response
