Abstract
As more is revealed regarding the nature of computer technologies and informatics, it is becoming clear that the interaction between people and computers is actually the interaction between two kinds of intelligences, i.e., natural intelligence and artificial intelligence. Through the application of rational thought and logic inferences, this paper attempts to clarify terminologies related to interaction through step-by-step definitions; discuss the nature of human-computer interactions; argue that shared models are the most important aspect for interactions, and propose that roles can be taken as an appropriate shared model for human-computer interactions.
