Abstract
Based on a job satisfaction survey to nearly 400 in-service hotel staff in Shanghai, this research uses factor analysis to explore the latent factors that might affect the job satisfaction of Shanghai hotel staff and uses one-way ANOVA to examine the significance of each factor to Shanghai hotel staff job satisfaction. This research will be helpful to discover the various demands of Shanghai hotel staff, give supports to Shanghai hotel managers, and also provide a better way to understand the Chinese hospitality industry.
