Abstract
A newly developed LC feedback circuit design is presented. Instead of two pairs of LC filters, a pair of tuned inductances and capacitances, forming LC tank, preserves the signals at some specific oscillation frequency and makes the oscillator circuit possible. A supply voltage (vdd) provides the capability of sustaining the oscillator. A gate voltage (v1) is used for adjusting the flowing current at the channel while a gate resistor is deliberately introduced to suppress the magnitude of RF signals penetrating through the gate capacitor. A wide range of working frequencies from 5 to 15 GHz can be obtained by tuning the supply voltage and choosing different set of R, L, and C.
