Abstract
The challenges and the new models of higher education make it necessary to reconsider the ties between the State, universities and society. Within this context the Alfa III Project +USO I: University, Society and Innovation Improvements in Engineerings education pertinence in Latin America. takes place. This project aims to improve the quality of professional training, which implies pedagogical structures and social pertinence improvement. This paper deals with education in Engineering through some key issues, Institutional strengthening that comes from evaluations and accreditations, and training based on certain competences as an answer to educational needs in the actual century. The paper presents an approach form computer engineering that students from Facultad de Ciencias Exactas, Físicas y Naturales-UNC-RA.
