Abstract
The importance of knowledge of morphology and physical properties of zooplankton to acoustic scattering models is described. Methods for measuring morphometry, density, and longitudinal-wave sound speed are briefly summarized. These are illustrated for a macrozooplankter, Euphausia superba, and a mesozooplankter, Calanus finmarchicus
