Abstract
The finite element (FEM) is used to analyze and study uncompressed viscous turbulent jet flow field in nozzles with different diameters. Computation results with FEM are accordant with the information. When the import velocity and the other boundary conditions are identical, the export velocity of small diameter nozzle is larger than that of large diameter nozzle. This paper provides a new method to study the flow field in nozzle.
