  • Abstract
This paper reports on an E-health Teletrauma application whereby vital signs and video signals are transmitted from an ambulance to an emergency hospital over 3G cellular networks. Electronic Patient Record and remote camera control are transmitted in the reverse direction. Vital signs from the biological sensors are acquired over a Bluetooth link while the video signal is acquired over a WiFi link. Benefits of the application are discussed and results of the experimental set-up are presented.
