  • Abstract
    The CVM (classical variational method) is used to optimize a line source distribution. Optimizing the pattern synthesis using CVM is shown to be very successful. It can flexibly control beam shape, null positions, sidelobe level, and positions, and make one parameter optimized at the same time.<>
