  • Abstract
In this paper, PET image distortions in PET/MR need to be documented during the start-up phase. They can potentially be limited if protocols are optimized. Not all artifacts in routine imaging are fully reproducible and, thus, mandate immediate attention prior to adopting PET/MR in routine imaging. Further reading on PET/MR artifacts can be found in and we have added a list of recommendations in the next section.
