Abstract
In order to reduce power cost in regenerative relaying system, the concept of power price is proposed, which determined by the different fashions of power supply at the nodes. An algorithm is proposed to minimize the outage probability based on power price, which subjects to the constraint of power cost. Lagrange multiplier maximization method is used to solve this problem. Numerical results show that optimizing the allocation of power based on power price is required for systems with inconsistent power prices. In other words, regenerative relaying systems with optimal power allocation based on power price can outperform optimal power allocation that does not take the gap of power prices into account. The contrast is more obvious with the gap of power prices enlarges.
