  • Abstract
    A systematic procedure for analyzing the steady-state symmetrical and asymmetrical short-circuit is developed for a size-phase synchronous machine. Expressions for terminal voltages and currents are derived using the symmetrical components methods. The short-circuit case for three phases 60° apart is presented as an illustrative example
