String formation in 3D particle clusters in complex plasmas

Summary form only given. Particle clusters as formed in confinements introduced in plasmas have been studied in several experiments. In steady state systems the internal structures have been reported on [1]. In addition to internal structures of clusters isolated vertical particle chains have been reported on [2, 3]. Strings in particle clusters and their behavior in additional electric fields are discussed.
