  • Abstract
Security management is a urgent problem to solve for underground engineering because of nonlinear characteristics of rock mass. The method of combining data mining and monitoring information is proposed to manage the deformation of surrounding rock. Information recognition model of surrounding rock is established by using the BP neural network which has self-learning ability in the data mining technology, and the output is regard as the recognition results. Information management system of underground engineering is proposed to make decision on management level for recognition results, to make judgments and decisions on steady state of surrounding rock. The results show that this method can improve the accuracy of monitoring and safety of the project construction.
