  • Abstract
    The paper reports on a monolithic microfluidic photonic crystal VCSEL wherein the fluid channels are both horizontal and vertical within the laser cavity. The photonic crystal pattern serves the dual purpose of acting as the vertical micro-channels and to produce single mode laser operation
