Abstract
The adaptability of collaboration is essential for team performance of cooperative tasks. This paper presents a real world problem to introduce the requirements of adaptive collaboration, revises the E-CARGO model from a group adaptation perspective, clarifies the parameters that affect group performance, defines the process of adaptive collaboration, and conducts simulations for an assumed future battle field scenario. The paper finally concludes by pointing out avenues for future research on adaptive collaboration.
