  • Abstract
    The ordered weighted averaging (OWA) operators have a wide range of applications in the field of decision science. The corresponding weights of the OWA operators can be obtained by a variety of methods, and the method of obtain the maximal entropy OWA (MEOWA) operator weights is one of them. In this paper, we discuss how to solve the weight vectors of the MEOWA operators under the uncertainty orness measure. The results show that this problem can be solved by transferring it into the problem of the weight vectors of the MEOWA operators under the corresponding endpoints or interior point of interval of orness measure, and the relation between them is discussed and analyzed. Finally, this approach is applied to assess the environmental effect of chemical industry items of basic construction, which is illustrated to show the feasibility and effectiveness of this method.
