Abstract
Advances in the design and implementation of material handling systems and quality inspection techniques for pelletized medium voltage compounds are discussed. A new package design and method of unloading boxed compound reduces the potential for contamination. Configurations of pneumatic conveying systems, including pipe design and phase density, can minimize product degradation. Recent analysis of product by various inspection techniques provides additional insight into the source and eventual elimination of contamination
