  • Abstract
Virtual MIMO (VMIMO) in the uplink communication system is a promising technique focused in recent years. It groups two or more user equipments (UEs) with individual antenna to construct a VMIMO channel communicating with a base station (BS) simultaneously in the uplink. In this paper we consider two UEs collaboration (2×2 VMIMO), and propose a novel pairing scheduling based on the SINR threshold combined with the system packet scheduling scheme. The proposed scheme has the advantage of low computational complexity and improves the system capacity without reducing the user´s quality of service. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme combined with the Proportional Fair (PF) packet scheduling is able to reach greater system throughput which is more suitable for the real system while the proposed scheme combined with the RR packet scheduling scheme have the advantage of lower data packet lose rate which has the better quality of service.
