Abstract
This paper considers the problem of decentralized H infin reliable control design via dynamic output feedback for interconnected large-scale systems with actuator faults. Based on the analysis of a more practical model of actuator failures, i.e. a continuous gain faults, sufficient conditions for the existence of the decentralized H infin reliable control synthesis via dynamic output feedback are given. The design can guarantee asymptotic stability and H infin performance of the resulting closed-loop systems whether actuator failures happen or not. The results can be obtained by solving a set of linear matrix inequalities. A simulation example is presented to show the design procedure and its effectiveness.
