Abstract

This paper completes a community intrusion detection system of wireless sensor network based on embedded system. This intrusion detection system can be put in communities or office areas, which is composed of ARM (Advanced RISC Machines) lower computer nodes, wireless network and super computer. ARM is used as the centre control unit of ARM lower computer, which uses sensors to collect information and processes them by image detection algorithm, and then transmits information to super computer with wireless mesh network. If there isnpsilat intruded information, super computer stores pictures to simple area, otherwise, super computer stores pictures to special area and gives alarm signal to monitors.
